The Europe Area was born in early 2018 with the intention of developing innovative projects at the European level.
CCB took its first steps in Europe thanks to meticulous networking with various national and European for-profit and nonprofit entities, from which fruitful collaborations with numerous European consortia were born.
From 2018 to the present, CCB has expanded the internal staff dedicated to the Area, extended its network in Europe and participated in the design of more than 20 proposals in response to European funding calls such as AMIF (DG Migration and Home Affairs), REC (DG Justice and Consumers), Europe for Citizens and Erasmus + (EACEA), and many others.
Europe Area projects address the following key themes: Education and training | Youth employment | Social inclusion of vulnerable people | Participation of young people in democratic life | Support and integration of third-country nationals | Intercultural dialogue and mutual knowledge | Intergenerational relations | Environmental sustainability
Within it, CCB has activated a Co-design Table joined by 7 member cooperatives to learn the rudiments of European planning and try their hand at writing projects on topics such as active citizenship, social inclusion and the promotion of European values of democracy and solidarity. The methodology used for the Table is that of “learning by doing” whereby training on planning and researching European calls for proposals is combined with work on preparing project proposals in response to the calls themselves.
